- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 lb boneless chicken breast, cubed
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with salt and black pepper. Cook in a pan until browned and fully cooked.
- In a separate pan, melt butter, add flour, and whisk to make a roux.
- Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.
- Add shredded cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Mix cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce.
- Add honey to the cooked chicken and stir to coat.
- Combine chicken with mac and cheese. Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust honey and pepper to taste.
- Use any pasta shape you prefer.
- For extra creaminess, add a splash more milk.
