A hearty Amish-inspired hamburger bake with seasonal fall vegetables for a comforting meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced potatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions, garlic, carrots, celery, and potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for beef.
- Add other fall vegetables like squash if preferred.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
